A Book Party with Maria Scrivan!

We are so happy to have graphic novelist, comic and friend Maria Scrivan visiting us in person at the end of September to celebrate the birthday of her latest graphic novel, Absolutely Nat!!

In this third installment of the brilliant Nat Enough series, Natalie has just arrived at summer camp and soon realizes it isn't anything like the brochure. Instead of spending the summer with her best friends, Zoe and Flo, Natalie is stuck with her ex-BFF, Lily, and someone even more annoying than the endless mosquitoes: Millie Flatbottom. Even worse, she's constantly pushed out of her comfort zone and forced to come face-to-face with some of her greatest fears. Although summer camp isn't at all what Natalie expected, could it be exactly what she needs?

After all, you can stay stuck or go forward, but you can't go back.

Maria did a virtual event with us when Nat Enough first released, and we couldn't be happier that we get to play with her in person this time around! We are, as always, fiercely protective of our community's safety, so masks and tickets will be required for this event, and numbers will be limited to ensure everyone's safety. If, for some reason we need to go hybrid or virtual, we will do so - but we are really crossing our fingers that we can do this in person thing! We also have the space to do this outside if weather permits, or with doors wide open for excellent ventilation.

All three books will be available for purchase at Turning The Page, and autographs will be available after the presentation, which will include a reading, some drawing (woo hoo!), and some Q&A.

We can't wait to see you on the 26th!
